Bergen is a Hanseatic town and Norway's second largest city.
My suggestion
You shouldn't miss the city, which is the gateway to the fjords.

Bergen is well worth a visit both for its rich cultural heritage and its strategic geographic position.
My suggestion
In my opinion it has more to offer than its rival, Oslo. For your trip to Norway, I recommend you land directly in Bergen airport because it's in a great location as it's the gateway to the most beautiful fjords in Norway.

Located between the seven mountains of the west coast of Norway, Bergen is undoubtedly one of the wettest places I've ever been to.
My suggestion
Remember to take your waterproof shoes and clothing, otherwise the rain can ruin your trip. I would also advise you to wear comfortable shoes to climb the mountain that stands above the city.
