You can head to Brazil, the famous, carnival melting pot, at any time of year. From April to October, the weather is warm and dry on the coast, but cold in the south. It's hot everywhere from December to March. Be forewarned that the country is invaded by Brazilian tourists between December and February, as it's their summer break. As local climates greatly differ, you can look at weather patterns for the region you want to visit, or you can organise your departure according Brazilian festival dates!

The bike tour in Rio and the day in Paraty were the best led tours. The hotels in Arraial de Cabo and Paraty were the best hotels. The Iguazu falls were spectacular as was the natural sights in Rio. The Amazon was so peaceful and beautiful. The wedding site at Arraial de Cabo was also pretty and fun. Paraty we enjoyed and could have spent more time there.

We absolutely loved the Amazon area. The accommodations in the rainforest made it even better (Mirante de Gaviao). Our bilingual guide (Nigel) was excellent! Fernando de Noronha was also so beautiful! And again, loved everything about our accommodations there (Beco do Noronha).

We started off in Rio, which was really beautiful. The activities were nice (tour of the city, express Tijuca Forrest hike), but I think we would've like to stay a little bit longer there. We then went to Foz do Iguaçu, which was amazing. The city doesn't have much to do but the falls were one of our best parts of the trip. Then, we went to Curitiba, which is a beautiful city! Unfortunately, it was raining hard during our whole stay, so we didn't get to do much. After that was Paraty, which was amazing! Very beautiful city and pousada. The kayak trip was really good, and the city tour as well. Our Mamangua hike was cancelled due to the weather, and the agency replaced it with another tour, that was okay but not our favourite. We asked for a refund and your agency responded quickly and very well (thanks again). Then we went to Ilha Grande, which was really heaven on earth! Unfortunately, it rained almost every day, but we did do the paradise islands tour, which was amazing! In general our trip was very well organized and everything went as expected!
